It empowers people with practical, sustainable changes that improve wellbeing, support recovery, and reduce the burden of chronic disease. I’m a retired medical practitioner with a longstanding interest in Lifestyle Medicine(LM). After a significant head injury brought my clinical career to an end, I began applying LM principles to my own recovery. What had once been professional curiosity became a daily, practical approach to rebuilding my health. Through this process, I experienced both the challenges and the real benefits of LM first-hand. Now, in this new chapter of my life, I’m committed to educating and supporting others. My aim is to share what I’ve learned so more people can use LM to improve their recovery and  wellbeing — one small, sustainable step at a time.

About the course

The Brain Injury Recovery Programme is designed to help you rebuild your health using the proven principles of Lifestyle Medicine. Whether your injury was recent or many years ago, this course gives you practical, science-based tools to support your recovery and improve your day-to-day wellbeing. You’ll learn how the seven pillars of Lifestyle Medicine- nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, connection, environment, and reducing harmful behaviours, all  work together to support brain healing. Each module includes clear explanations, short videos, practical steps, and supportive guidance you can apply immediately.
